Beth Shak, professioneel pokerspeelster, is door haar ex-man voor de rechter gesleept omdat ze een kostbare collectie van 1200 paar schoenen niet heeft aangegeven bij de boedelscheiding toen het stel uit elkaar ging.

Volgens haar ex-man, de pokerspeler Daniel Shak, had Beth haar schoenenverzameling voor hem verborgen gehouden in een geheime kamer. De collectie bestaat onder andere uit zo'n 700 paar schoenen van de Franse schoenenontwerper Christian Louboutin.
